The Department of Ophthalmology provides world-class
eye care to those affected by the MIC gas leak,
1984 at Bhopal. It is involved in giving the best
possible and latest eye care, totally free to the
persons affected in the MIC gas tragedy of December
1984 and other patients from whole of central India
at cost-effective rate.
It is an active department committed to reducing
curable blindness through its support centers, i.e.
8 mini units which are delivering efficient primary
and secondary eye care, conducting OPDs daily i.e.
six days a week from 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM.
It has highly qualified Ophthalmic professionals
and staff, trained in India and abroad, who are
devoted to their work and willing to teach and learn,
keeping up the spirits of BMHRC, offering their
professional expertise and skills to the Geriatric
and Pediatric patients.
